Case Transfer



To transfer a case to another team using the transfer button in the chat panel.

Key Steps:

  1. Click on the transfer button located at the top right corner of the chat panel.
  2. Select the team where you want to transfer the case to from the drop-down menu.
  3. Teams available for transfer will have a green dot next to them, while unavailable teams will be grayed out.
  4. You can still transfer to teams that are not currently available for live chat, such as for SMS and email.
  5. Once you have selected the team, press confirm to transfer the case.
  6. The case will be transferred, and it will no longer be visible in your workspace.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Ensure that you select the correct team for transfer to avoid misrouting the case.
  • Double-check the availability of the team before confirming the transfer.

Tips for Efficiency:

  • Familiarize yourself with the different teams available for transfer to streamline the process.
  • Communicate with the receiving team if necessary to provide any additional context or information about the case.
